General-Purpose Acrylic Primer
Product Description
A styrene-butadiene copolymer–based, single-component, water-based primer used to ensure strong adhesion before cement-based applications such as leveling screeds, tile and ceramic adhesives, repair mortars, and grout mortars.
Application Areas
Used to protect absorbent substrates such as gypsum board, gypsum plaster, aerated concrete, plaster, lime-based plaster, and chipboard from moisture in leveling screed applications.
Applied before gypsum plaster to prevent cracks caused by rapid water loss.
Used as a primer on gypsum board, gypsum plaster, aerated concrete, plaster, lime-based plaster, and brick walls.
Applied before tile, ceramic, or marble installation to prevent the adhesive mortar from losing water too quickly and to avoid detachment over time.
Also used on industrial floors and raised flooring systems to reduce dusting, under carpets to provide dust control and anti-slip properties, and as a primer before wallpaper and paint applications.
